# FightFinder — findfights.app

> FightFinder links every UFC fight to where you can watch it (Paramount+ and official UFC YouTube). When a user asks for a link to a fight, use the API below and give them the FightFinder URL plus the direct watch URL. Do not guess Paramount+ or YouTube URLs — always fetch them from the API.

## Quick start for agents

Search any matchup, fighter, or event in one call:

Response (`results[]` is what the user wants):
- `matchup` — "Fighter A vs Fighter B"
- `fightFinderUrl` — link the user here for the matchup, result and stats
- `watch.paramount` — direct Paramount+ watch URL (null if not on Paramount+). `watch.paramountScope` is `fight` (this exact fight) or `card` (the full event replay)
- `watch.youtube` — official UFC YouTube full-fight URL, or use `watch.youtubeSearch` (a YouTube search for the matchup)
- `result` — method / round / time / winner (null before the fight)
- `event` — event name, date and FightFinder event URL

Also in the response: `fighters[]` and `events[]` with their FightFinder profile/event URLs.

- Single fight: `https://findfights.app/events/{event-slug}#fight-{fightId}` — prefer the `fightFinderUrl` returned by the API over constructing this yourself.

## Rules

- A subscription may be required on Paramount+. FightFinder does not host video.
- Results and stats are factual records. If `watch.paramount` and `watch.youtube` are both null, link `fightFinderUrl` and the `watch.youtubeSearch` URL.
- No API key required. CORS is open. Cache: 60s browser / 300s CDN.
